New Phone System for a Residential Care Home

Haunton Hall Care Home in Tamworth needed help with its telephone system because persistent issues were affecting customer service calls, including cracking on internal and external calls. As a nursing, residential and dementia care home, dependable telephony was important.

After a free site survey, Telecom Central proposed replacing the existing Panasonic system, which was over twenty-five years old. The care home did not yet need an all-singing, all-dancing setup, so Telecom Central recommended a solution that could be scaled up later.

The chosen solution was a Panasonic KX-NS700, which kept the capabilities the home already had while adding features like voicemail, call pick-up and external call divert. The installation was a success, and the general manager said Telecom Central’s advice was invaluable and the engineer guided the team through the change step by step without downtime.
